Thank you for registering for the 2024 Family Gathering in San Luis Rio Colorado. We are so excited that you will be a part of this time of fellowship, worship, and seeking the Lord together as a family.
Please not the following important details:
ENTRY TO MEXICO
All Participants should have (and bring) an active passport from their country of nationality in order to enter and exit from Mexico.
Some countries will also require a visa to enter the country.
ACCOMODATIONS
We are asking that everyone make their reservations at the Hotel San Angel, where the family gathering is taking place. Each family can make their own reservations through reservaciones@hotelsanangelspa.com. In order to receive a discounted rate please mention that you are part of the EMI event and/or use the code: congreEMI. Rates should be approximately $95 a night for a King room (max 2 occupants) or $120 per night for a double room (4 occupants).
PLEASE RESERVE YOUR ROOM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AS WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SET APART ANY UPAID ROOMS FOR THE GATHERING.
MEALS
Meals are included in the cost of registration for the duration of the event. This will begin with dinner on Wednesday Sep 25 and conclude with breakfast on Monday Sep 30.
If you are extending your stay beyond that time frame, please plan to arrange your own additional meals.
Please note that your hotel stay includes free continental breakfast, and there is a restaurant on-site as well as a few restaurants within walking distance.
If you have allergies or special dietary restrictions, please email the conference team as soon as possible (conference@emmint.com). We may not be able to accommodate all needs, but we will work with you to find a solution.
ARRIVALS AND TRANSPORTATION
IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER SEPTEMBER 25 YOU MAY HAVE TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL
FLIGHTS
The conference team will arrange transportation for all guests from either Mexicali (Mexico) or Yuma (Arizona USA) airport to the Hotel San Angel on or before Wednesday, Sep 25.
If you fly into another airport (such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, or Tijuana) YOU WILL HAVE TO ARRANGE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION to either Mexicali or Yuma before we can arrange transport for you to the hotel. (One option is to rent a car at your arrival airport and return it to the Yuma airport rental car location) cars: The conference team cannot help to make rental car reservations nor do we take responsibility for any cars present at the event.
DEPARTURES
The conference team will arrange transportation for all guests from the hotel to either the Yuma or Mexicali airport On or after September 30. (For those participating in the excursion on September 30 it is better to schedule your flight on or after October 1).
EVENT SESSIONS
Family Gathering sessions will begin with a fellowship dinner Wednesday evening (Sep 25) and will continue through Sunday evening. There will be an optional excursion and fellowship day on Monday (Sep 30). More specific information about check-in and event schedule will be provided at a later date.

- If you rent a car in the U.S. you will not be able to cross the border into Mexico in the rental car. You can choose to return it to the Yuma airport rental car agency location, or pay for parking at Yuma airport (a secure location).
- If you rent a car in Mexico, you may park your car in the hotel parking lot.
- If you drive your own car to the event, you may cross the border in your car as long as you have proof of current registration and insurance, and your drivers license. You may park your car at the hotel.
DEPARTURES
The conference team will arrange transportation for all guests from the hotel to either the Yuma or Mexicali airport On or after September 30. (For those participating in the excursion on September 30 it is better to schedule your flight on or after October 1).
- If you are flying out of another airport, you will need to arrange your own transportation from either Yuma or Mexicali to your airport of choice as we are not able to provide transportation beyond Yuma or Mexicali.
- We are not able to provide transportation for departures before September 30.
